Touch Makeup Artistry

MARFOA

ACHEAMPONG, MAKEUP ARTIST

ABOUT MARFOA

I picked up a passion in makeup artistry about a decade ago whiles still studying for my bachelors degree in Fine Art at KNUST.

I was focusing on movies at the time while also doing bridal work for friends and family on the side. When I realised there was a serious issue with the impressions people had of brides with dark skin. I found it upsetting to see faces mismatching with bodies, especially on one’s most important day. I think every bride deserves to look her best on her big day. So I started researching to determine why that occurs and how to best address it.

I became known as the expert on dark skin and most natural-looking created looks after deciphering the underlying pigmentations of skin, especially dark skin, and how they appear under both natural and artificial lights. I have developed a specialty in applying makeup to skin that looks natural and doesn’t melt or break when exposed to pressure changes.

VISION

Through excellent execution of work and a desire to touch all kinds of skin shades, we seek to generate 5K smiles on the faces of the clients we’ll come across in the next 10 years.
